OAB Arc Vibrator

Kendrion OAB series vibrators generate an arc-shaped oscillating motion by applying an alternating current to the excitation coil. The resulting oscillating motion coincides with the alternating current frequency, providing fast and effective rhythmic vibratory movement.

OAB arc vibrators are low-profile by design. They consist of two steel annular shells that fully enclose the excitation coil and permanent magnets. The ring-shaped body and flexible leaf springs on either side of the device are permanently connected to the base to aid vibration.

Applications include sheet powdering in the printing industry, the exact dosing of powders and granulates, and, when fitted with additional weights, can be used as a vibratory drive.

Phase angle controllers can be ordered separately for fine vibration adjustment through an alternating or direct current (via an integrated one-way rectifier). In addition, the phase controller can be DIN-rail mounted within cabinets with minimal space.
