51 or ATEX 57 Series Pneumatic Timer

The miniature pneumatic timer is an adjustable timing device that offers excellent repeat timing and setting accuracy, typically used as an ON delay or an OFF delay function to signal other valves or devices within purely pneumatic systems.

Choose from four pneumatic time ranges, 0.2-3 seconds, 2-30 seconds, 8-120 seconds, and 20-300 seconds, as ON delay or OFF delay with M5 threaded ports.

We offer ATEX fully approved timers for use in zones 1 and 21, category 2, product group IIG/IID and group I category M2 for mining applications.

Setting the pneumatic timer is achieved by adjusting the front rotary knob to the desired set point; there are two vertical scales; one indicates the setting time and the other the time remaining in the cycle.

Panel mount the pneumatic timer using the plastic clip provided. Alternatively, install the timer on a DIN rail using additional accessories. The timer can then fit inside a control panel for extra protection.

By using two pneumatic timers, it is possible to create a repeat timing system where a repetitive pneumatic output signal is required, for example, regular filter cleaning, purging, charging, debris build-up, mixing, repetitive dosing, spraying, aeration of water, stagnation and vibration applications.
