Kuhnke 40.100 brass pneumatic cylinder

Due to their small size, brass pneumatic cylinders are particularly useful for applications where space is restricted and often used where other pneumatic cylinders with aluminium parts, usually the end caps, are not permitted.

Brass cylinder end caps are made from solid machined brass; the cylinder tube is honed and polished, offering long life expectancy and smooth operation. The cylinder rod is steel, making it corrosion-resistant, reliable and highly robust.

Bore sizes range from 5mm to 25mm; they are single or double-acting and all non-magnetic. Standard stroke lengths are 10mm, 12.5mm, 20mm, 25mm, 37.5mm, 40mm and 50mm.

Brass cylinders are available as ‘U or S type’; this refers to the mounting option to the rear of the pneumatic cylinder. There are two options.

‘U type design’ brass cylinders are threaded on both ends and supplied with lock nuts; connection ports are 90° to the main cylinder body.

‘S type design’ brass cylinders are nose threaded only; the front connection port is 90° to the cylinder body; the rear connection port is in line with the cylinder body.

Seal kits are available for bore sizes 12mm to 25mm for easy device maintenance.
