Kuhnke ASi Airbox

ASi Airbox is a remote I/O plug-and-play pneumatic module designed and manufactured by Kuhnke, often branded Siemens and used on AS-Interface bus systems mainly within industrial automation applications.

A single pneumatic Airbox device incorporates two main pneumatic valves, two solenoid-operated pilot valves, an integrated circuit board with AS-Interface ASIC, sensor input connections, indicators and diagnostics.

The difference between each model is whether yellow cable (data) only is required or yellow and black cable (data and auxiliary power).

There are two types of exhaust to choose from, either sintered exhaust or 8mm push-in connections enabling the piping away of the exhaust from the application.
